Synopsis

Summer of 1963, 17 year-old Frances « Baby » Houseman is on a holiday with her parents and her sister at Kellerman’s, a resort in the Catskill Mountains. One night, by accident, she discovers an unknown world at a party organized by a group of dancers. This is the beginning of her empowerment with « dirty dancing », a very sensual dance. In spite of her father's disapproval, Baby falls for the resort’s dance instructor, Johnny Castle, who’s from a much more different background.
